Hugh
Having enjoyed talking and never listening when he was told to stop talking from a young age, Hugh gave his first professional tour when he was 19 back in County Wexford at the Irish National Heritage Park. He continued as a tour guide during the summers of his studies, working in the GPO, the Guinness Storehouse and even in Toronto on the red City Sightseeing buses. He began giving private tours of Dublin while in college, and having lived in Rathmines for almost five years, he decided it was time to show off the magnificent place he’d come to call home.
Hugh studied History for his undergraduate degree and later completed a Masters in Economic Policy, both at Trinity College Dublin. Alongside the tours, he offers a range of services from event M.C. to quiz master. He is an amateur filmmaker, having completed five short films and a feature film.
